A Simpler Time

A Simpler Time is a family owned and operated full service alpaca ranch and fiber mill. They got their start 21 years ago on a family vacation to Pagosa Springs, CO where they encountered alpacas for the first time. It was love at first sight, and they purchased their first four alpaca by the end of the week. 

Two years later, they purchased mini mill fiber processing equipment and began making their own yarn. A Simpler Time now processes fiber for people all over the country. In the last few years they’ve have opened operations to the public to tour and visit the small onsite shop.

They produce yarn, roving, batting and sheets of felt.
