Powell Sheep Company, owned by Lorraine Powell, has a mixed flock of registered Columbia, Blue-Faced Leicester and Lincoln as well as a lovely cross breed of Columbia and Blue-Faced Leicester.

Lorraine has had a passion for sheep since she joined 4H when she was 15 years old. In 1973, Lorraine started Powell Sheep Company attending shows in both California and Arizona.

A portion of her flock are covered which ensures lovely clean fleeces with very little dirt and vegetable matter. Lorraine also undertakes the shearing herself with a bit of assistance to help lift and carry the sheep as some breeds are quite large and heavy. Annual production is approximately 400 lbs of fleece.
